Remembering the Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti

They can silence the man but not his vision.

I was honored to speak at an event to celebrate the life and work of my friend Shahbaz Bhatti. Shahbaz was a Pakistani Christian activist murdered by the Pakistani Taliban for his advocacy for religious minorities 11 years ago on March 2. Hosted by CSW and co-sponsored by the Institute for Global Engagement, the event featured family members and dignitaries.
