Great to participate in a joint event with the U.S. Institute of Peace and the U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights about empowering religious actors to promote peace. My presentation focused on religious leaders as influential voices for human rights and religious freedom due to their strong moral authority, community leadership, and ability to speak to their societies in ways international actors cannot.
